Results/Memories:
Not a lot of success in the arena, at least not when it comes to points and pay back, but progress was made. Crayton used his own horse, Parker, for calf roping. Although he wasn’t able to rope the calf, the horse did fine.
No times in team roping either, but Kooper did awesome, catching on the head side both runs. Crayton and Parker were in good position and it looked good, but in the end, the loop was empty. 🙁
Despite the no times, the team roping team was still able to smile at the end of the day. Memories were made and fun had- including going to another area rodeo to watch peers compete and also an adventure to the local haunted house.
Notes:
We had great weather and the facilities were top notch.
Amenities:
Crayton and Laura had a great weekend, minus the stress of determining the cause of the dimming lights in the living quarters of the trailer and the blown out tire 4 hours from home Sunday afternoon.
Stalls and Camper/RV Hookups with water and electric were available
Bathrooms were on location
