Meet “Swan” 🦢 . Docs Ring Solano is a registered American Quarter Horse buckskin gelding, standing at a powerful 15.3hh.
Swan has the size and frame and still remains classy with excellent conformation and that desirable color.
Not only does he have the looks, Swan is a true gentleman. He is loveable and sweet: easy to catch, patient and quiet while you saddle and mount, and gentle to handle.
On the trails he will go anywhere you point him. He will willingly ride out alone or stay with the group. He’ll lead the way or follow patiently. He will calmly cross creeks, step over logs, and give you a leisurely ride.
His size, beauty and wonderful manners will be sure to get you noticed.
He is a smooth mover in all gates. He will lope in collected circles and will catch his leads. He in one hand broke and has a nice stop.
He’s been ridden around our ranch at Schwieter Land and Livestock and even competed in area team pennings.
He is desensitized to tarps, flags, balls, dogs and wildlife and a rope. No lunging required. No bad habits or sour personality, just a kind, dependable companion.
Take him in any direction you want. He may only be 4 years old but does not behave like a young horse. He is seasoned, experienced, smart and gentle. Ride him in an arena, in the open pasture, down the road or in the timber- anywhere your heart desires- alone or in a crowd.
You don’t have to be an experienced cowboy to ride him. He has more whoa than go. You can slow him down or speed him up, so if you’d like to “cowboy up” he’s perfectly capable- He has some natural athleticism and has been started correctly. He has been exposed to many situations and has a strong foundation.
Compete on him or relax on the trail, while Swan remains calm and confident. Whether you’re looking for a companion in the backyard, a quiet trail horse, or a fun time in the arena, Swan checks all the boxes.
