An eye-catching 4 year old AQHA registered buckskin gelding that can get a job done and will turn heads while he’s doing it. Dependable, versatile, easy to get along with in any environment and just the right size at a thick, 14.3 hands. Steve has the experience and ability to go in any direction-an all around, nice gelding with good foundation bloodlines.
Good footed and easy to handle- bathes, loads and hauls. He has a nice one-hand neck rein and catches his leads. He’s also been exposed to tarps, flags and isn’t afraid of a rope.
With lots of exposure, being hauled locally for day work and catch jobs and even to the Nebraska Sandhills for a college ranching internship, Steve has seen the sights. From gathering, roping and dragging during branding season, to riding down the road or on the trails with dogs, wildlife and cattle coming from any direction, on all types of terrain, he remains calm and gets his job done. Speed him up or slow him down- Go rope a bull and then go trail ride.
We purchased Steve straight off the farm from the local breeder; He is an honest horse with a bright future ahead. Steve has the looks, ability, personality and is full of potential to become your next forever horse.
