Merada was consigned to the Midwest Draft Cross and Quarter Horse Sale in Jamesport, Missouri, February 9, 2024. LOT #304 and sold to a local buyer in Missouri.
“Merada” is a 15.2 hand, classy, AQHA bay roan gelding. Ranch Horse, Rope Horse, Trail Horse… At 4 years old he’s just getting into his prime.
He’s a horse that looks good in all seasons and will continue to mature and fill out. We even had Sydnee Gehrig with SG Photography and Equine Designs come to the farm and take a few senior pictures of Crayton with Merada.
Merada has been used around the ranch moving cows, sorting pairs, tagging and doctoring calves. He’s been started on the head side and is calm in the box. He has the size, brains and ability to excel in the roping arena.
He’s excellent for trail riding also- in the woods, open pasture, down the road, through water, etc.
Merada is gentle and easy to handle. He has a smooth lope, neck reins and catches his leads. He’ll be a true gentleman, whichever direction you decide to take him.
